Over & Under

Tabby Studio is an open-ended, education-focused weaving residency nestled in the valleys of southern Appalachia, twenty minutes west of Asheville in the historic paper mill town of Canton, North Carolina. One resident weaves here per session, and instruction is tailored to fit, from daily one-on-one lessons to fully independent studio time, so the residency can meet each weaver wherever their practice is, whether they're just starting out or deepening a long-held practice.

A curriculum-based residency covering double weave, natural dye, and warp painting, ending with a ready-to-hang wall piece.

Time, Space, & Access
A self-directed residency for experienced weavers who need uninterrupted time and space, with optional guidance available.
